NatureBox: Like Comcast for snacks

So I tried NatureBox. Here's an interesting tidbit about their service: You can't unsubscribe from it online. You can do everything else online, including skipping a month, but you can't stop them from billing you altogether. If you want to cancel, you have to call their toll-free number and wait through automated messages and then talk to a rep who will try to persuade you not to unsubscribe.

Sound familiar? It's the same tactic Comcast uses. In both cases they have your credit card info and they're going to keep on charging you unless you jump through various hoops to opt out. And they  aren't picky about the tools they'll use to stop you from getting what you want; delays and emotional manipulation are fair game.

NatureBox is a slimy company.
